Trafigura preparing for challenging 2019

One of the world's major commodity traders, Trafigura, which has tanker shipping companies such as Maersk Tankers and Norden among its customers, eyes a challenging 2019 characterized by lower economic growth.

2019 will be a challenging year in which the shipping market, and not least the tanker segment, which Trafigura deals in, is hit by lower global growth, according to the commodity trader's annual report for 2018, published now, as the Singapore-based company operates with a displaced fiscal year.
