Sovcomflot orders LNG-powered vessels

Russia's Sovcomflot has ordered three LNG-fueled tankers from a Russian shipyard. Also in the late summer, the shipping company ordered ships that can sail on liquefied natural gas.

Russian tanker ship operator Sovcomflot has placed an order with shipyard Zvezda in its home country for three new product tanker vessels that will sail on LNG as primary fuel.
