Torm sued by Asian shipowner following tanker vessel dispute

A Singapore-based shipowner has filed a lawsuit against Torm at a British court for having returned two tanker ships in "an untradeable condition." Torm denies the accusations.

Product tanker company Torm is being taken to court in the UK by Singapore-based shipowner First Ship Lease.

First Ship Lease accuses Torm of having redelivered two tanker ships in "an untradeable condition." The suit concerns the two product tanker ships Torm Marie and Torm Margrethe, which Torm and First Ship Lease signed a leaseback contract for in 2011.
