Nordic Tankers has now been acquired by MOL

MOL Chemical Tankers has now completed its acquisition of Nordic Tankers from equity fund Triton. The sale means that the chemical tanker shipping company will now operate under the name MOL Nordic Tankers.

Nordic Tankers has now officially been sold to its new Japanese owner, and will, starting today, Feb. 1, change its name to MOL Nordic Tankers.

The sale of the Nordic Tankers to MOL Chemical Tankers was announced in early January. Since then, the parties have been settling the last formal details, and the deal has now been signed and finalized.
