Greek-based Dryships has taken full ownership of tanker pool Heidmar. The seller is US-based investment bank Morgan Stanley.

The Greek shipping group Dryships takes full ownership of tanker pool Heidmar.

Dryships, controlled by George Economou, already owned 49.8 percent of the pool, but the company now acquires the remaining shares. The seller is US-based bank Morgan Stanley.

3i buys AMP out of Esvagt

Private equity firm 3i, which owns half of carrier Esvagt, has agreed with the company's second owner, AMP Capital, to take over all of Esvagt for GBP 268 million, making 3i the sole owner. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.
