Eitzen's new shipping company now reports an operating profit

A series of red figures have turned black at Axel Eitzen's shipping company Christiania Shipping, which has delivered an operating profit of USD 3.2 million for 2018. The bottom line was also improved dramatically, but that was due mainly to loan write-offs.

Tanker shipping company Christiania Shipping now reports an operating profit, according to a message from the company.

The company reports an operating profit (EBITDA) for 2018 of USD 3.2 million, against an operating deficit of USD 3.8 million the year before.
