Euronav buys up low sulfur fuel ahead of 2020

Tanker carrier Euronav bunkers one of its ULCC tankers with low-sulfur fuel as part of its preparations for the upcoming sulfur regulations, writes Argus Media.

Preparations for next year are in full swing at Euronav. The tanker company recently purchased several cargoes of more environmentally friendly fuel to be able to comply with the sulfur regulations entering force on Jan. 1, 2020.
