Hafnia buys new tankers and closes credit facility with banks

Product tanker shipping company Hafnia just landed an agreement to buy two newer tanker vessels, previously part of Stena Bulk's fleet. Meanwhile, the company sells one vessel and secures a new credit facility.

Hafnia is buying two vessels and selling one in an effort to modernize its fleet of product tankers. Meanwhile, the company just closed a credit facility with ten banks, shows a press statement.

The shipping company just bought two newer MR (medium range) vessels built in 2015, while selling a single MR vessel from 2004. The sold vessel was delivered to its new owner earlier in September. Hafnia reports neither price nor whom the respective deals have been made with.
