Navigare to bet more on gas with new pension fund capital

Gas ships will likely play a bigger role in Navigare Capital Partners' new fund that recently received hundreds of millions of dollars in fresh funding. The ambition is to bring in more international investors, Managing Partner Henrik Ramskov tells ShippingWatch.

Some of the DKK 2 billion (USD 294.2 million) which three pension funds have placed in Navigare Capital Partners' new fund will be invested in gas ships.

Navigare Capital Partners has already invested in an LNG ship with the first fund, but in the new fund a bigger portion of the money will be invested in the segment, says Henrik Ramskov, managing partner, in an interview with ShippingWatch.
