38 large bulk and tanker vessels are currently being retrofitted with scrubbers, and more will come over the next months, shows a new report by Clarksons Platou. The installations will benefit tanker rates in particular.

The new IMO global sulfur regulations are rapidly approaching, and because of this, shipyards have been busy for a while now, working at full speed to install scrubbers on a large number of vessels.
