Euronav sells three ships in leasing arrangement

Tanker shipping company Euronav has sold three ships to a Chinese leasing company in a sale-and-leaseback arrangement. The sale gives Euronav proceeds of more than USD 20 million.

Belgian tanker company Euronav sells three VLCC ships to Taiping & Sinopec Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., says the company in a press release.

Specifically, Euronav has signed a sale-and-leaseback agreement worth USD 126 million, in which Euronav will lease the ships back on a 54-month bareboat contract.
