Clarksons: The Strait of Hormuz could close

The Strait of Hormuz, which is a hub for global oil trade, risks closure due to the escalating conflict between Iran and the US, assesses analyst firm Clarksons Platou.

"Although any potential outcomes from an escalation of conflicts in the region are highly speculative at this point, potential disruptions could include the closure of the Strait of Hormuz or an attack on oil installations," write Clarksons' analysts in a note on Monday.
