Danish authorities raise the security level for Danish ships operating in the Strait of Hormuz near Iran, the country's defense ministry tells Ritzau.

The security level is raised due to the deteriorating situation in the Middle East, which is caused by the escalating conflict between the US and Iran, says the ministry.
