Major Greek ship operator sells five tankers

Tsakos Energy Navigation has sold three suezmax vessels and two product tankers. The sale strengthens the Greek shipping company's cash position while also reducing its debt.

Greek tanker shipping company Tsakos Energy Navigation has trimmed its fleet by selling five ships.

The sale concerns three suezmax vessels and two product tankers, which were sold for a combined price of USD 104 million, according to a press release.
