Maersk Tankers books USD 91 million profit

Maersk Product Tankers, which operates more than 80 vessels on behalf of Maersk Tankers, turned red figures on the bottom line into a pre-tax profit of USD 91 million in 2019.

Product tanker shipping company Maersk Tankers exits 2019 with a large profit, shows the annual report from company Maersk Product Tankers, which covers operations of more than 80 vessels for Maersk Tankers and is co-owned by Japan's Mitsui.

The pre-tax result for 2019 lands at USD 91.4 million, and Maersk Tankers has thereby clawed itself out of a USD 35 million deficit in 2018.
