Ardmore is no exception to the wave of product tanker carriers reaping colossal gains from the very low oil prices, which are making traders demand oil and oil transport like never before.

The chief executive of the Irish shipping company, Anthony Gurnee, says in a financial statement on the first three months of this year that Ardmore has just entered into a deal on a voyage of 55 days for one of its vessels at a price of USD 72,000 per day.
