Maersk Tankers and V.Ships close to deal on vessels from Hin Leong's fleet

Maersk Tankers and V.Ships have made a deal with Xihe, which has had 37 ships stuck at the collapsed Hin Leong group, ShippingWatch learns. 16 Xihe vessels are expected to come under management. Germany's BSM also makes a deal. Updated.

Maersk Tankers and V.Ships are closing in on a management deal to take over a large part of Singapore-based carrier Xihe's fleet of a combined 37 ships that sailed for now-collapsed group Hin Leong, a number of sources familiar with the matter tell ShippingWatch.
