In the slightly longer term, Concordia Maritime CEO Kim Ullman projects that the product tanker market will enter a period with a healthy balance that benefits the shipping companies, he tells ShippingWatch.

2020 will be an extraordinary year for the product tanker sector, in which the spring, and May most of all, was impacted by the oversupply of oil that made ship rates soar to record high levels before plunging to wholly different and much lower levels.
