CEO anticipates soaring LNG rates

After crisis-related trends in the first and second quarters of 2020, rates for LNG have recently skyrocketed, reports Finansavisen. Few ships are available on the market, according to CEO.

LNG rates have soared recently, with spot rates approaching USD 200,000 per day, reports Norwegian business media Finansavisen.

The current landscape is thereby in stark contrast to earlier this year, when rates came to USD 90,000 per day in early 2020 and USD 30,000 per day in May.
