BW Group takes over 39 percent of US gas tanker carrier in million-dollar deal

BW Group continues its acquisition hunt and takes over 39 percent of gas tanker carrier Navigator Holdings in a deal worth nearly USD 200 million. Seller is WL Ross & Co., a subsidiary of investment fund Invesco.

Acquisition-hungry BW Group expands its business and takes over 39 percent of equity in stock-listed gas tanker carrier Navigator Holdings in a USD 197 million transaction.

Seller is WL Ross & Co., a subsidiary under investment fund Invesco, which manages USD 1.2 trillion in assets invested in several industries, including shipping.
