Celsius Shipping plans to buy more tankers in a 2021 characterized by low prices

Shipowner Celsius Shipping wants to profit off of the strained tanker market by buying more ships in the sector during 2021, says chair Jeppe Jensen to ShippingWatch. The company will take delivery of two new MR ships in coming months.

Danish shipowner Celsius Shipping sees great opportunities to make purchases in a strained tanker market, which has been marked by low demand since the second half of 2020, informs chair Jeppe jensen.
