Newly merged BW Epic Kosan's results hit by higher costs

The merger of Lauritzen gas carrier Kosan and Epic Gas has triggered rising costs during BW Epic Kosan's first full quarter and thus a lower result.

Costs related to the merger of Lauritzen gas carrier Kosan and Singapore-based Epic Gas has weighed on the financial results in the most recent - and first full - quarter at the new BW Epic Kosan.

This is apparent in the quarterly report published by the carrier, with an owner circle dominated by the BW group and thus the Sohmen-Pao family.
