Synergy Group takes over Maersk Tankers' technical ship management business

Singapore-based Synergy Group has acquired Maersk Tankers' technical ship management business. That means that 3,300 employees at Maersk Tankers will have a new employer. The technical management of 82 tanker vessels is part of the deal. Updated.

The large-scale technical ship management business at Maersk Tankers has a new owner.

Singapore-based Synergy Group will take over the entire business from Maersk Tankers, affecting 3,300 employees and 82 tanker vessels, writes Maersk Tankers in a press release.
