With an approval for the design of two CO2 tankers, Dan-Unity CO2 is ready to order the first ships capable of transporting CO2 with the aim of storing or reusing it. Other companies are also looking into CO2 transportation at sea.

Joint venture Dan-Unity CO2 is ready to order the company's first tankers capable of transporting CO2, the company writes in a press release.

Dan-Unity CO2 is owned by carriers Evergas and Navigator Gas and has just received approval for their design of two CO2 tankers with a capacity of 12,500 cubic meters and 22,000 cubic meters, respectively.
