Wilhelmsen company buys into tanker operator

The Wilhelmsen group's ship management company buys majority of German tanker line, taking over operation of five tankers as well.

Wilhelmsen Ship Management has bought into German tanker operator Ahrenkiel Tankers.

The deal entails Wilhelmsen taking over management of five tankers, while the company gains an ownership majority of 80 percent in Ahrenkiel Tankers, according to a press release.
