Oaktree completes sale of Chemical Tankers Inc to Hafnia

Hafnia has finished the takeover of Chemical Tankers Inc., becoming the world’s biggest product and chemical tanker operator. Chemical Tankers CEO Jens Grønning will stay on for a two-month handover period.

Tanker line Hafnia has completed its acquisition of Chemical Tankers Inc. (CTI), the former Navig8 Chemical, from Oaktree Capital Management, according to a Hafnia statement.
