Fredriksen and Saverys continue acquisition raid in Euronav in feud over tanker merger

Rivaling parties in the clash over the merger of tanker companies Euronav and Frontline, John Fredriksen and the Saverys family, intensify efforts by acquiring more shares in Belgian tanker company Euronav. Fredriksen has surpassed an ownership share of 12%.

Once again, shipping magnate John Fredriksen has increased his amount of shares in the Belgian tanker company Euronav ahead of the annual general meeting on May 19, 2022.
