Frontline CEO: Russian oil flows quite freely on the market

Frontline is not taking the ”moral high ground” in regards to Russia but complies with the existing sanctions. Large amounts of Russian oil are still passing through the market, said chief executive Tuesday.

Despite massive sanctions from the West and examples of carriers publicly refusing to take on new transports, large amounts of Russian oil are still passing through the market.

Such was the statement by Frontline CEO Lars Barstad during a conference call Tuesday following the tanker operator’s financial figures for the first quarter.
