Over half of Maersk Tankers' new hires in 2021 were women

Maersk Tankers managed to hire more female employees last year, resulting in the company achieving its 2023 goal ahead of time.

Last year, tanker shipping company Maersk Tankers succeeded in hiring significantly more women, the carrier informs ShippingWatch.

Specifically, 55% of the company’s new hires in 2021 were women. Maersk Tankers hired a total of 95 new employees last year, 52 of which were women.
