War and sanctions mean more tanker demand and costly ships

Markets for seaborn oil carriage and product tanker were ”historically firm” in September on account of ongoingly impacted energy markets resulting from Russia’s war against Ukraine and associated EU sanctions, Concordia Maritime writes in its monthly market update.
