Drug trafficking hub is used to obscure Russian oil, report says

A new report suggests an increase in the number of sanctions-violating shipping activities at sea where vessels manipulate their whereabouts in order to load or unload Russian oil.

There’s been a rise in shipping practices used to move Russian crude and oil products that are aimed at deceiving observers, according to a report from maritime consultancy Windward Ltd.
