Maersk stuck with ghost ship in Russian port

For months, Maersk has tried to regain control over an empty tanker left behind in a Russian port. ”We are working on getting it out,” states the carrier.

Maersk owns a tanker vessel that for months has laid empty with no cargo or crew in an unnamed port in Russia, caught up in the repercussions of the Russian warfare in Ukraine, the shipping major confirms.
