Eastern Pacific and MAN to develop fleet of huge ammonia carriers

The two companies will develop eight VLAC ammonia vessels, which will be the first of their kind, along with six newcastlemaxes, all of which will be able to run on the climate-friendly fuel.

Singapore’s major maritime group Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) is joining forces with MAN Energy Solutions and Asian shipbuilders to develop an entire series of vessels that are able to sail on ammonia.
