Broker sees benefits in Fredriksen's possible purchase of rival's tankers

Frontline’s shareholders will probably be most satisfied with the prospect of a purchase of vessels from Euronav, according to Pareto Securities.

It makes sense for shipping company Frontline to buy more supertankers from its Belgian rival Euronav, says one brokerage house after rumors of a possible deal between two shipping companies that were close to merging earlier this year have begun to swirl.
