Eased US sanctions on Venezuela could benefit tanker carriers

According to analysts, tanker operators could reap benefits from the eased US sanctions on Venezuelan oil exports for the next six months.

The temporary halt of US sanctions on oil from Venezuela is likely to boost conventional tanker carriers if exports from Venezuela then increases, according to analyst firm Clarksons.
