Torm bags record profit for the second straight year

The product tanker carrier benefits from altered trade patterns for commercial shipping due to new Russia sanctions, crisis in the Red Sea and drought in the Panama Canal.

Torm has achieved the highest operating profit (EBITDA) in the history of the product tanker carrier with a gain of USD 848m, according to the company’s financial statements for the fourth quarter and full year 2023.
