Five tanker carriers achieved record profits in 2023, but the smallest of the five overtakes its larger rivals on growth. Scorpio falls big-time in comparison.

The transportation of oil products has been a booming business for most tanker operators in the geopolitically turbulent year of 2023, according to a ShippingWatch comparison of the financial statements of Hafnia, Torm, Scorpio Tankers, Ardmore Shipping and d’Amico International Tankers.
