
Wilbur Ross-controlled gas carrier Navigator Holdings Ltd., which was listed on the New York Stock Exchange in November 2013, has exercised options for three additional newbuildings at 35,000 dbm each, at a price of USD 78.4 million per unit, says the company in a brief to the stock exchange.
Navigator already has a similar vessel under construction - a so-called semi-refrigerated liquefied gas carrier - and the latest order brings the company's combined newbuilding program to a total of 13 vessels, four of which will be delivered by the end of this year, four in 2015, and five in 2016.
