Tokay Electric Power Co. (Tepco) is Japan's largest importer of LNG, and the US market and tanker carriers might feel this fact in the near future.
"There is no doubt LNG from West Coast projects would be highly competitive. That's why Asian players would be naturally interested in the projects," Junzo Tamamizu, managing partner of Clavis Energy Partners, tells Bloomberg.
