Unclear if Torm will refill position after tanker head resigns

The job as head of tanker at Torm following Tina Revsbech, who will take over as CEO of BW Pacific in Singapore, might not be refilled at the carrier, which will soon operate purely in the product tanker market.

"We're currently evaluating whether to refill the position. We're headed toward becoming a pure product tanker carrier, where in the past we've operated tanker as well as bulk. As such, we will strongly consider what structure we'll have going forward," says Christian Søgaard, Head of Investor Relations at Torm, which has six dry bulk vessels left in its portfolio.
