Analysts: Weak LNG market ahead

Several analysts highlight that the LNG carriers are entering a weak market with lower freight rates in the next few years.

Shipowners involved in the LNG trade should not expect too much from upcoming years, project both Danske Bank and analyst agency Drewry in new studies of the LNG market.

Drewry emphasizes that a new factor is currently putting extra pressure on the markets for LNG - Australian shipments of the liquefied natural gas.
