
Two renowned Norwegian business profiles are now joining forces to launch a new tanker carrier, reports media Sysla.
The two men are Frederik W. Mohn, third-generation of engine family Mohn, whose engine factory was acquired by Alfa Laval for USD 1.46 billion, and Tom Christian Steckmest, who owns oil tanker carrier Viken Shipping. The two business men will each contribute 50 percent of the investment in Viken Crude, which aims to unite "local strengths" in a long-term shipping investment.
