Dorian soars with new ships in strong gas market

Times are good for the major gas carriers. A fact illustrated once again by US-based Dorian LPG, which exited its third quarter in strong form aided especially by a series of new vessels. Strong market fundamentals, notes the carrier.

US-based Dorian LPG, which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and specializes in the major VLGC gas vessels, continues to benefit from the positive developments characterizing today's gas market.

The carrier closed the third quarter, ending on December 31st in the fiscal year 2014/2014, with a net result of USD 54.6 million against just USD 8.9 million in the same period last year, according to Dorian LPG's interim report, published Friday.
