Torm to establish holding company in London

Danish carrier Torm is establishing a new holding company in London. CEO Jacob Meldgaard states to ShippingWatch that the decision will not impact Danish jobs.

One of Denmark's oldest and most storied carriers, Torm, could establish new holding company based in the UK. In a statement, the carrier informs that it is considering a move of its HQ to the UK, but CEO Jacob Meldgaard stresses to ShippingWatch that the carrier is not weighing whether to relocate its headquarters, but that the carrier is strictly considering whether to establish a new holding company in the UK, a move that will not impact the company's employees in Denmark.
