Euronav: Strongest first quarter in eight years

A robust start in the second quarter, says CEO Paddy Rogers of Euronav after the Belgian tanker carrier delivered the strongest first quarter result in eight years. One thing in particular keeps the order book calm.

Belgian carrier Euronav once again delivered an improved bottom line with a first quarter result of USD 113.5 million after tax. In the same period last year, the result was USD 80.9 million for the crude oil carrier, which is one of the biggest players within VLCC vessels.
