Ardmore buys six MR vessels

Irish carrier Ardmore has bought six MR class product chemical tankers and sold shares in order to partly finance the purchase. Ardmore's shares declined 10 percent on Wednesday.

Irish product tanker carrier Ardmore is increasing its fleet with the purchase of six MR product / chemical tankers. On Wednesday afternoon the carrier announced the sale of shares, which would help finance the purchase of the vessels, which will push the fleet to a total of 28 ships.
