Sovcomflot bags financing for two ice class vessels

Tanker carrier Sovcomflot has signed a memorandum of understanding for a large credit facility which will be used to pay for two ice class Panamax vessels. The new ships will service a Russian oil project in the Pechora sea.

State-owned Russian tanker carrier Sovcomflot has secured financing for two new ice class Panamax tanker vessels.

The company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with similarly Russian bank Sberbank for a credit facility worth USD 180 million, informs Sovcomflot in a press release on Wednesday.
