Golar LNG reduced its deficit in the third quarter

Golar LNG can look back on a quarter that brought improvements across the board and a reduced operating loss. The company notes a chance of improved market balance from 2017 and going forward.

Carrier Golar LNG, which transports liquefied natural gas, finished the third quarter with improved performance in a still-challenging market.

Revenue grew to USD 22.2 million against USD 18.3 million in the second quarter this year, while the operating deficit was reduced to USD 28.2 million from USD 37.2 million in the previous quarter, according to Golar LNG's third quarter interim report.
