Crude oil tanker rates circling three-year low

With the current spot rates for very large crude carriers (VLCCs) at less than USD 10,000 per day, marking a three-year low, the upcoming quarterly and half-year reports from the listed tanker carriers look set to be depressing reading for shipowners and shareholders.
