Trading agency Gunvor plans acquisitions in shipping

Swiss-based Gunvor Group, which recruited Danish Jan Bech Andersen this year into its shipping business, is now planning further partnerships with the intent to complete more acquisitions.

Gunvor Group, one of the world's largest oil traders, will grow through partnerships and via cooperative acquisitions of activities in shipping or refineries, according to the founder of Swiss-based Gunvor Group, Swedish Torbjörn Törnqvist, in an interview with Reuters.
